As much as I love being at the coast, playing at full time professional beach bum and photographer, there are times when I have a calling to immerse myself in the local woodlands as I did on Monday.
Bucks Valley woods nestled in Bucks Mills just off the A39 down a narrow winding road was my calling.
Loaded with my trusty camera, tripod, a wide angled & a telephoto lens off we headed on an adventure.
The trees were amazing as they still had their lush summer look but with autumn leaves entwinned in the landscape too and the soul was enlightened by being immersed and surrounded by the magnificent woodlands which I had to myself although sharing with the birds and occasional inquisitive squirrel.
It was definitely worth the hike around the valley and I will be revisiting in the near future.
